Hello,
I use an external Hard disk with ext3 format, and there is no problem using large files (> 4 gb).
I tried to access from my PC (format = NTFS) to do the same. However, when reading the Mpeg file (approx when duration was corresponding to 4 gB), the recording went directly to the begining of the movie. I tried the same with the accelerated (x6) reading, and I went systematically back to the begining of the file.
I tried also to read the file by sharing the USB hard disk from the PC (specific driver installed to acces to ext3 file under winx xp), but I got the same ?
Does anyone experienced the same ?
Is it totally different when using a real NAS like Synology ?
Thank you for your help.
