Recording not complete ?

Hello, I'm recording from a M740 to a pc under XP trough the ethernet connection.
I'm using the last official 2,4t firmware.
My last recording was not finished at 100%, and the M740 has stopped the creation of the files to the PC during the recording.

==> has anyone any idee where I can search to avoid loosing other records in the future (performance issue ?, win XP compatibility issues ?, ...)

I got again the issue with the recording : the recording seems to start, but nothing is written or just only one or two files then the recording is stopped.
On the menu, the record is noted "OK" with the green sign and not with the red "!".

Any idea ?

That's strange, because it indicates that the M740 did not notice any error :confused:
I saw similiar symptoms in earlier firmware versions only. It seemed they were due to the corruption of some internal data structures, because it could be resolved by a factory reset (after 4 * power plug/unplug) and/or firmware reinstallation.
Before doing this (loosing all your settings/timers) you should check wether the problem occurs only with your PC (if possible, try recording to another PC or to an usb disk) and try to remember if you recently changed something in your network or PC setup (firewall, free hdd space etc.).
